‘X Factor’ judge Mel B has revealed plans to go under the knife, with an operation to restore her eyesight in her left eye.
The former Spice Girl reveals that she’s been left blind in one eye, in a new interview, explaining that she previously had laser eye surgery that went wrong.

Speaking to Hello!, Mel explains: “I can't see at all out of my left eye. The lasering went wrong so this [operation] will be totally life-changing.”
The new operation will involve part of the tissue in her left eye being replaced with donor tissue.
As ever, the judge still has her sense of humour, adding: “Hopefully I won’t be seeing what the other person’s seen, the other dead person.”
Mel has been a huge success during her first series on the ‘X Factor’ panel, and on Saturday, her act Andrea Faustini will go up against Ben Haenow and Fleur East in the final.
Mel’s chat with Hello! is accompanied by a photoshoot starring her children, and husband Stephen Belafonte.
While the pair have been happily married since 2007, the singer recently spoke out about her sexuality, stating that while she’s had relationships with women, she does not consider herself a lesbian.
