McDonald's Reveals How Chicken McNuggets Are Made And It Doesn't Involve 'Pink Slime'

Are Chicken McNuggets Disgusting 'Pink Slime' Or Actual Chicken?

It's long been the question on every fast food fan's mind - how do they make Chicken McNuggets? Is there even any meat in them?

McDonald's have always struggled with criticism for the ingredients of their food, including accusations of nuggets and burgers containing a mystery "pink slime".

In this video series, the fast food giant has enlisted the help of Mythbusters star Grant Imahara to tackle rumours about the way it produces its food.

Imahara watches as assembly line workers slice cuts of chicken to be used, then sees the meat ground and formed into the four classic McNugget shapes.

Be warned: this video may make you peckish.
