Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift And Sam Smith Confirmed To Perform At Brit Awards 2015

First Brits 2015 Performers Confirmed

The first three performers for next year’s Brit Awards have been announced, with Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith all taking to the stage in February.

This will mark the first time Sam has performed at the Brits, having been the recipient of the Critics’ Choice award last year, shortly before the release of his number one album ‘In The Lonely Hour’.

All three of the confirmed artists have had an amazing year in 2014, with all of their albums hitting the top spot over the course of the year.

Sam Smith

Taylor’s album ‘1989’ received critical acclaim when it was released in October, while two of the singles taken from Ed’s newest release, ‘X’, have reached the top of the UK singles chart, ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and ‘Sing’, a collaboration with Pharrell Williams.

Ed Sheeran

Ed previously performed his track ‘Lego House’ at the Brits in 2012, with Taylor appearing a year later to sing her hit single ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’.

It has already been announced that James Bay has been awarded with the Critics’ Choice gong this year, which he will be presented with during this January’s ‘The Brits Are Coming’ nominations show. He will also be performing at the special event, alongside FKA Twigs and Clean Bandit.

Taylor Swift

More performers will be announced for the main ceremony, due to take place at London’s O2 Arena on 25 February 2014, in due course.

Next year’s awards will be presented for the first time by Ant and Dec.
