2014 has been a great year for technology. We've seen the first range of (true) Android smart watches appear as well as the first truly usable curved-screen phone.
That said, there are some things about 2014 that never truly lived up to our expectations. Smart watches like the Moto 360 were beautiful to look at but due to the primitive nature of Android Wear, they felt expensive and empty. Curved screen phones like the Galaxy Note Edge may have won us over but they're still in the niche. The iPad is still an iPad despite the arrival of the laptop-replacing Surface Pro 3.
This is why 2015 will be the year that the world of technology truly takes a step forward. Smart watches will be spurred into innovation thanks to the Apple Watch, meanwhile games like The Division will finally provide us with the 'next-gen' experience we're waiting for.
This is our definitive list of the technology that will define 2015, the themes that will shape the products we end up buying and the keywords that you'll end up typing into Amazon come Christmas 2015.
