While bosses have confirmed the shock twist, they’re remaining tight-lipped on who will die, and the identity of the unlucky Walford resident won’t be revealed until the episode is aired.

The soap is currently gearing up for a dramatic Christmas, which will see the Carter family torn apart when Mick, played by Danny Dyer, finds out Dean raped his wife, Linda.

The dramatic revelation is set to leave the family in turmoil and they aren’t the only ones who’ll be having a tough Christmas.

Over at the Beales, there will be new developments in the Lucy Beale murder case, as Cindy discovers a mystery present underneath the Christmas tree.

All of the new developments are part of the build-up for the 30th anniversary live week, during which the murderer’s identity will be revealed.
