Jacky Fleming's Feminist, Political Cartoons Will Make You Laugh Out Loud

Jacky Fleming has been drawing cartoons for over 30 years, and her work is still as relevant as ever.

She was inspired to create the first of her feminist postcards - an image called 'Self Defence' - after a man was abusive towards her on the tube and "the police weren't very interested".

Her first published cartoon appeared in feminist magazine Spare Rib in 1978 when she was still a university student. She's since been featured in The Independent, The Guardian and The Big Issue.

Now, we're very excited to be featuring some of her fabulous images here on HuffPost UK Lifestyle.

Enjoy.
