Victoria Beckham Highlights The Downside Of Wearing A Polo Neck

Victoria Beckham looked nothing but cool and composed after she presented her Autumn/Winter 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week on Sunday. However, as her Twitter feed shows, dressing for the city's chilly winter weather has been problematic...

The 40-year-old fashion designer sensibly wrapped up during her time in the freezing cold Big Apple. The only downside? Apparently, putting on a polo neck (one with extra long sleeves) is a two-man job.

Thankfully, VB found her other shoe just in time to take a bow on the catwalk to close her show. More importantly, her collection of classic, comfortable knitwear, high-neck tunic dresses and pea coats received rave reviews.

"Beckham pays attention, and along the way her own sensibility has shifted and become more sophisticated," said Style.com's Nicole Phelps.

In Victoria's own words, her new range has been made to make women feel amazing.

"It's not about one theme – but instead thinking about what women really want to wear and how they want their clothes to make them feel," she revealed in her show notes.

Her plunging dresses ticked the sophisticated box. As for those roll neck styles? Mrs Beckham clearly has comfort (and warmth) in mind for next season.
