Would You Accept An Invitation To Look Around The Home Of Hannibal Lecter?

When you’re invited into the home of a star, you either imagine a twee little tour of the Through The Keyhole variety, or an ostentatious show of wealth a la MTV Cribs. You can expect things to look slightly different when the homeowner in question is Hannibal Lecter.

Even though stylish Danish furniture manufacturer BoConcept has cast its most elegant designs as essential props, Mads – who hired his own script and technical team rather than relying on an ad agency – insists this is not a glorified commercial.

““I am an actor, and I want to act. BoConcept hired me for my acting skills, not for me to just go and say BoConcept is great," says Mads Mikkelsen, “although I am proud to be working with a Danish company who is succeeding on an international level with their design.”

Mads Mikkelsen, who also starred as the chilling Le Chiffre in Casino Royale as well as in acclaimed Danish movies The Hunt and The Salvation, has filmed another short movie The Guest, also co-starring BoConcept furniture, to be released later this year.
