Crocs Drone Delivery Concept Comes To Japan

In Japan Shoes Are Delivered By Drone

Crocs aren't for everyone, but getting your stuff delivered by drone? That's surely something we can all get behind.

Well now the durable footwear maker has come up with exactly that -- a way for drones to pick and deliver pairs of its new, very light shoes from the shelves of a concept store to your waiting hands.

The only problems are that this is just a concept (it's not available in the high street), and also the fact that you have to pay for and wear a pair of Crocs after you're done marvelling at the 10 seconds in which a robot flies up to your footwear and selects them for you.

Engadget was present for a demo of the 'Flying Norlin Project' and has a full write up here.
