Suzanne Shaw has revealed she's expecting a baby with a heartwarming video.

The former Hear'Say singer came up with the cute way to break the news to her fiancé Sam Greenfield and videoed the surprise to share with her fans.

In the short clip, the 33-year-old stars begins by outlining a surprise she has planned for Sam, showing a love letter laid out next to their bed.

A little mystified, Sam reads out the note, which said:

"I'm so happy, SO happy, and gloomy, and joyful, oh crap this is bad.

"I'm looking for comfort, deep in the fridge."

"Sam, I really do wish you the best of luck, Happy Valentine's, I love you."

He then finds his gift and when he opens it finds a positive pregnancy test – which prompts Sam to break down in happy tears on camera.

Suzanne jokes shortly after: "Now we need to tell Corey!"

As her 11-year-old son Corey comes on to camera, Suzanne hands him a card with the happy news, and the worried lad asks: "Is this something bad? Have I done something wrong? Did you get this from the post?"

He then reads the words: "You are going to be a brother."

And after a few seconds, he finally reacts by saying: "What?"

Suzanne said about the pregnancy: "Sam and I are delighted to be expanding our family. I wanted to make the big reveal extra special for both Sam and Corey so I decided to video the occasion.

"We're all over the moon and can't wait to meet him or her when they arrive in October. It was definitely an extra special Valentine's Day for us!"

New baby Greenfield is due on October 4 this year.
