In his 12 years as one of the stationโ€™s key presenters, Zane has championed new music, and his passionate and enthusiastic style has captivated millions of listeners.

In interviews he's convinced everyone from Eminem and Jay Z to Florence Welch open up, and just last week, Kanye West broke down in tears during a chat with the DJ.

Now, the likes of The 1975, Foals, Chvrches and Jamie T have taken to Twitter to bid the DJ farewell.

All hail @zanelowe! I cant thank this man enough for the support he's given me over the years. You will be missed. Keep rockin x #ThanksZane
