What's Your Biggest Regret? Powerful Photography Project Asks Strangers To Speak Out

Photographer Alecsandra Raluca Dragoi had one mission with her project: What's Your Biggest Regret? - to give people a voice.

She came up with the idea after realising that she found it difficult to talk about her own. "I never had the courage to speak out loud when I had to. No one ever asked me this question."

The 22-year-old, who is originally from Romania but lives in London, says there are two ways people can contribute. Either they can contact her and she'll photograph them, or you can submit a photograph.

The project so far is poignant and reassuringly human. Take a look at some of the entries so far...

"My regret is not understanding other people's opinions with an open mind - we are all not the same"

"I listened (to) others more than I listened to myself"

"Not saying 'I love you' enough"

"My regret is not exploring more opportunities in university"

"Not being with my father when he died 15 years ago"

"Not having the confidence to be the best I can be"

"Not listening"

Some were a little bit more bashful...

"What I did last night"

While we strive to be more like this lady...

"No regrets"
