Woman Gets Horrific Frostbite And Almost Loses Hands After Drunkenly Falling Asleep Outside A Bar In Canada In Mid-Winter (WARNING: Graphic Images)

Woman's Frostbite Is Like Something Out Of A Horror Film

WARNING: Graphic Images

If you've ever complained of having cold hands after forgetting your gloves in winter, imagine falling asleep outside a bar in Canada and getting third and forth degree frostbite - ouch!

That's exactly what happened to one woman who says she got so drunk that she fell asleep for hours outside a bar in Saskatchewan, where temperatures have been known to fall as low as -30 to -40°C.

The unidentified woman, who is from Australia, shared her photos on Imgur to the horror of the internet.

"I was blackout drunk by midnight, with no phone, no money and no idea where i was and i couldn't find my way home," she explains.

She was last seen at 2.30am outside a bar and was found hours later at 5.45am, where she was promptly rushed to hospital.

"A nurse told me that best case scenario I keep my fingers. Worst case, I lose my hands," she writes.

She describes the ordeal as "f**king terrifying", but since has maintained a positive attitude - even finding the humour in her doctor's name, who, she claims, was called Dr Freezin.

Luckily her doctor believes that she should be able to keep all of her fingers, but she will find out in June this year.

It's safe to say that we won't be falling asleep outside in Canada any time soon.
