Jeremy Clarkson's Replacement Confirmed As Stephen Mangan... On 'Have I Got News For You', At Least

It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for - British actor Stephen Mangan has been confirmed to be Jeremy Clarkson's replacement. On ‘Have I Got News For You’.

Why… what else could he be replacing Clarkson on?

Shortly after his much-publicised sacking from ‘Top Gear’ - which it’s highly like you’ll have heard at least about if you have, y’know, a head - it was announced that Jeremy would be making a return to the BBC to front an episode of ‘Have I Got News For You’.

This news received mixed reviews, and days later it was confirmed that the controversial TV personality had pulled out of fronting the episode, which was supposed to air on Friday night.

Stephen Mangan, best known for his leading role in ‘Episodes’ , will now be guest hosting the panel show in Jeremy’s place.

Jeremy’s sacking from ‘Top Gear’ came after a notorious “fracas” with a producer on the BBC motoring show, which included verbal abuse as well as a reported 30-second physical attack.

James May, who co-hosted ‘Top Gear’ with Jeremy for over a decade, has now revealed that he won’t be returning to the show either, insisting it “wouldn’t work” with a “surrogate Jeremy”.
