You know as a child when you used to dream about a giant water slide winding its way along the streets of your hometown?

Well it's finally happening.

Slide the City is an insane 1,000ft (300m) water slide that has already taken the US by storm and is now heading for the UK.

Cities including London and Manchester will host the attraction which will cost from around £16 for three goes.

Free rental of a inflatable ring is included.

You must be five years old, or 116cm tall (3ft 9in) to participate.

Last year a similar attraction in Bristol drew 100s of people.
