Three months after she was named our number one beauty icon, Audrey Hepburn is now the most stylish Briton of all time.
Hepburn, who was born in Belgium but held a British citizenship, triumphed in Samsung Galaxy's Great British Style Audit which surveyed 2,000 people in the UK.
Audrey was a definite winner, too.The Express reports the Breakfast at Tiffany's actress received over a quarter of the votes, with Princess Diana and David Beckham ranked closely behind in second and third place.
Kate Middleton came in fourth, Twiggy was named fifth and Queen Elizabeth II was sixth - a few spots ahead of current style savvy stars Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham.
Clearly, we favour timeless fashion over short-lived sartorial fads - and age is important, too. The survey also revealed men feel the most stylish at 37. Women are happy with their wardrobe choices at 36.
The famous film might have been released over 50 years ago, but Holly Golightly and her long black dress are still capturing the nation.
