The King's Cross Pond Club, London’s latest boutique outdoor pool, opened to the public this week, offering fresh water public bathing in the heart of the ancient capital. The first of its kind in the UK, the water was graced by the members of a German swimming team on Friday, the group enjoying the facilities surrounded by the buildings of the famous suburb.
The 40-metre pond is purified using submerged plants to filter the water. Should you fancy a dip, the pond is open to the public Monday to Friday between 6am and dusk and from 8am at the weekends. Visit here to book in advance.
