Back in April, we went crazy for pictures from Taiwan showing a new craze of cutting dog's fur into perfect circles or squares. Now a new trend has emerged from Japan showing dog with its fur cut into perfect cubes.

Looking like something out of Minecraft, the cubic canine appears to be participating in some sort of competition. And we think it should win.

According to Stuff.co.nz, the sharp-looking pooch was taking part in a dog show in the Japanese capital of Tokyo.
A reddit user posted the pictures, saying "So there is a trend in Japan to shave dogs' fur into cubes..."
We think this might be even more impressive than the skilled grooming required to give pups completely square faces, a trend which is apparently taking Taiwan by storm.
