Carol McGiffin was back on the red carpet on Thursday night just months after revealing she had been battling breast cancer.
The former ‘Loose Women’ star was in great spirits as she rocked up to In The Style’s summer party at the Drury Club in London.

Carol revealed she had been battling cancer for almost a year in February, after being diagnosed the previous April.
The TV star went on to reveal she had undergone a mastectomy as well as chemotherapy and radiotherapy to treat an aggressive tumour on her left breast.
The 55-year-old was joined at Thursday night’s bash by her fiancé Mark Cassidy, who she credits with helping her get through the last twelve months.

She told The Mirror: “He made sure I knew how much he loved me and that he still fancied me. But deep down I didn’t believe him.
“But he did and although I loved him before, I love him even more for that now. Over the past year he has been there at my side for every moment, good and bad, from the very beginning.”
The party also gave Carol the chance to catch up with her former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemates Louie Spence and Charlotte Crosby.
Ahead of the event, she tweeted: “On my way to see my gorgeous little friend @Charlottegshore and that other gorgeous little friend @louiespence @inthestyleUK #ITSsummerparty.”
In May the star made a triumphant return to TV, appearing as a panellist on ‘Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’.
During her appearance she was flooded with messages of support on Twitter, with fans saying how brilliant it was to have her back on their screens.
