Preston North End football club has unveiled its new season away kit, causing fans to experience stages of grief while comparing it to Minions from the film 'Despicable Me'.
Fans and rivals took to Twitter to mock the new kit, unveiled in a melodramatic, smoke-filled tweet posted by the club on Friday morning.
Not everyone was impressed with the new away kit and its Minion-esque colour scheme.

Shock and denial were common responses.

@pnefc When's the real kit being revealed ???— Wayne Charnley (@WaynePne) July 17, 2015
Over reaction was plentiful.
@pnefc Oh sweet lord what the hell is this...— David Worthington (@davidw1627) July 17, 2015
Then someone made the Minions connection.
Then someone made it really obvious.
Then the kit was linked to the city’s old bus station – widely consider a national eyesore – currently being re-designed by public vote.
Meanwhile a rival fan showed remarkable restraint.
