A Facebook page titled 'No Hymen No Diamond' has caused a social media storm, with thousands of people speaking out against the 'sickening' content.
Believed to be started by a group of men in America, the page is be based on the misogynistic ideal that women who aren't virgins aren't worthy of engagement rings.
The #NoHymenNoDiamond hashtag on Twitter appeared in 2014, with advocates of the outdated concept tweeting their support. But it has since been taken over by avid feminists, hellbent on disproving the assumptions about virginity.

This whole #NoHymenNoDiamond proves that

2. Feminism is neededSeptember 27, 2015
