Aliens Will 'Conquer And Colonise' Earth Stephen Hawking Claims

Stephen Hawking Casually Points Out Aliens Will Most Likely Exterminate Us All

Get ready for an alien take over.

Stephen Hawking has spoken out about our run in with extraterrestrial creatures and the bad news is it is not going to end well for us. Have a good life everyone.

In an interview with El Pais, the eminent scientist said that if aliens were to visit other planets, they would most likely look to colonise and conquer it.

"If aliens visit us, the outcome could be much like when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans," he explained.

"Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach.

"To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like."

And Hawking has already made a noticeable effort to lead the charge on helping us find our potential overlords.

In July he joined hands with Russian entrepreneur Yuri Milner to launch The Breakthrough Initiative, which has already received $100 million (£64 million) in investment.

The two-fold programme includes using two of the world's largest telescopes to scan the skies for signals fromn extraterrestrial life as well a competition to create a message that would best represent humans to aliens.

Hawking is not the first person to suggest that our alien friends or foes may be more advanced than us.

In September Edward Snowden said aliens could be trying to contact us but human are probably too stupid to read their encrypted messages.
