A local newspaper story about police seizing a haul of alcohol from young ruffians following a 100-strong house party in Cheshire is delighting the internet.
Two PCSOs became town heroes after the tale of how they caught the young'uns redhanded appeared in the Warrington Guardian.
"Alcohol including Fosters, Strongbow and vodka was seized," the newspaper studiously reported.
Social media was blamed for the scores of unruly youths who flocked to the house party in Great Sankey, Warrington, which resulted in "anti-social behaviour".
Needless to say, the people of Twitter have been overjoyed by the police force's success, offering their congratulations to the brave officers.
