‘House Of Cards' Series 4: Frank Underwood's Return Was Just Announced In The Best Way Possible

This 'House Of Cards' Announcement Is Perfect In Every Way

‘House Of Cards’ will return for a fourth series in 2016, Netflix have confirmed.

The announcement that Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood will be returning and running for presidency again was delivered in style, with a 30-second faux campaign advert airing during the US Republican presidential debate.

"America, I'm just getting started."

In the clip, which is as sharp and smart as you’d expect, a narrator introduces "one man who refuses to settle, putting people before politics”... yes, it’s Frank.

The new series will arrive on Netflix on 4 March, and the streaming service have also revealed a full campaign website for Frank, on which he outlines his key policies:

“These are my mottos. I have no patience for useless things - like political gridlock and stagnation. And neither should you. Join me. Let's roll up our sleeves together. Let's plow through the stubborn and small-minded and send Washington a message loud and clear.”

Of course, Frank won’t be back alone, and the formidable Claire, played by Robin Wright, will once again be at his side.

The series is expected to arrive in one huge Netflix drop, as the previous three have, so now’s probably a good time to book the 4 and 5 March off work, ready for a huge binge-watch session.
