‘Strictly Come Dancing' Runner-Up Georgia May Foote Set For West End Debut? Craig Revel Horwood Makes A Bold Promise

Georgia Reveals HUGE Post-'Strictly' Ambitions

Georgia May Foote may have lost out to Jay McGuiness in the battle for the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ glitterball trophy, but she still looks set for success following the show, and could even be treading the boards on the West End stage.

Following Saturday night’s final, the former ‘Coronation Street’ actress had nothing but good things to say about her stint on the ‘Strictly’ dancefloor, and judge Craig Revel Horwood made things even better, by making a bold promise.

He told her: “You have been extraordinary and you have had, I think, one of the biggest journeys on the programme, from someone who was very insecure to be honest.

“I would be very, very proud to put you into any of my West End shows. It was absolutely stunning.”

Choreographer Craig has masterminded the routines for a number of stage shows, and Georgia was understandably delighted by the praise.

Speaking of her fresh career ambitions, Georgia said: “To dance a dance and get that immediate round of applause, or whatever the reaction is, it’s there and it’s amazing and for me, it’s made me want to go into theatre.

“This show has really helped me to find that confidence because I now feel like I could do it.”

Craig was particularly impressed with Georgia's efforts

Georgia and ‘EastEnders’ star Kellie Bright were pipped to the post on Saturday, losing out to Jay McGuiness, who received the lowest score from the judges, but impressed viewers nonetheless.
