British Astronaut Posts Stunning Video Of Blighty From The ISS

British astronaut Tim Peake posted this remarkable time-lapse video to Twitter on Wednesday, saying hello to "BBC Radio 2 Simon Mayo listeners." The film was shot from onboard the International Space Station, and shows the habitable artificial satellite moving through low earth orbit as Britain and Europe glide 249 miles below.

Earlier this month, Peake tweeted similarly impressive images of lighting strikes hitting the Earth (video below). In January, the 43-year-old from Chichester became the first astronaut representing Britain to carry out a space walk.
