A cross-eyed make-up artist wrote a self-love message to herself -- and we're here for it.

Tayla Reynolds, from Philadelphia in the US, recently did a #WomanCrushWednesday on Instagram, where she celebrated herself, writing: "I'm cross-eyed and I love it."

The official term for cross-eyes is strabimus -- where one eye looks directly at an object from any angle, while the other eye is misaligned inward.

"I have my days where it gets me down and I see a bunch of beautiful women who have perfect eyes, and sometimes I question God why me? I ask him maybe one day I'll wake up and be normal," Reynolds wrote.

However, her faith gives her peace. "But he(God) told me I made you this way because I believe you are stronger and you have much more to offer, more than a pretty face."

Reynolds said she was bullied a lot when she was younger. Some people also threatened to harm her because of her condition. She got her nickname, Mrs Betty Wrap, after American rapper Fetty Rap -- who lost an eye as a baby.

Her message to her followers: "Love yourself and show love to others, you never know what someone is going through."
