Wondering what to do with the kids over half term?

Here are 10 things to do for less than a fiver.

Get the kids in free at Legoland

Not got the cash for a family trip to another theme park this year? Get the kids in free at Legoland Windsor or Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester by taking along a 'Nutella' lid. Just look out for special branded jars and you'll get one free child entry worth nearly £30.

Get the kids off the couch

Hit some balls at the driving range

You don't have to be a golf club member to use the driving range. Check first as some places just let you pop along and pay around £2 for a basket of balls and it's a great way for the kids to work off some energy! Save money on club hire borrowing from friends or pick some up on www.freecycle.org

Well ok there's no one single location as the films have been shot all over Britain but here's a few famous, and free, ones you can pop along to.

Durham Cathedral was the site of the snow covered quadrangle where Harry set free the owl in the first film and it's the scene of Ron's slug vomiting in Chamber of Secrets. And an optician's shop in London's Leadenhall Market was used as the entrance to the wizard pub 'the leaky cauldron'.
