WHO? Jaeger London

IN A NUTSHELL: There have been a few jet set-inspired collections at London Fashion Week (it's as if designers don't like the weather here?) and Jaeger London continued on that theme. Taking influence from the brand's early 1970s ad campaigns, models waltzed down the runway in angular oversized sunnies, fabulous wide brimmed hats and holiday-ready pleated dresses, tailored shorts and wide-legged coulottes. Colours were classic Jager; navy, cream and nude, spiced up with pale pink, mint and orange - plus plenty of poppy stripes and polka dots. Triangular laser cut-outs, soft scalloped edges and lace/sheer overlays featured heavily, plus bows galore. For footwear, it was all about the wedge.

BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: We want it all. But if we had to choose, we'd probably opt for one of the wide-brimmed summer hats, or the navy and mint knee-length dress with pleats and scalloped shoulders. Plus we're definitely going to be copying the chic catwalk hair: low glossy ponytails smoothed down on the head and with a slight curl to the ends, draped over one shoulder.

THE F-ROW: Pixie Lott (plus model boyfriend), Alexandra Burke, Olivia Palermo, Lorraine Kelly, Donna Air, Hilary Alexander, and all the major fashion editors.

VERDICT: A beautifully constructed collection featuring a whole host of really wearable, feminine pieces, it was possibly our favourite show of London Fashion Week so far. And we're only on day two...
