The Tweet That Proves Even Fashion Editors Have Parenting Problems

Oh joy.

London Fashion Week might seem glamorous, all that talk of champagne, front rows and constantly having your picture taken.

But don’t be fooled people, being a fashion editor doesn’t make you immune to normal people problems.

Stacey Duguid, Acting Executive Fashion Editor for Net A Porter’s PORTER magazine, shared an insight into the glamour of parenting as a fashionista.

On the last day of LFW Duguid posted a screenshot of an email she had received from her child’s school, detailing an outbreak of thread worm.

Our favourite part is the symptoms to be alert for: “Excessive bottom scratching, especially at night.”

Glad it isn’t just us.

The NHS says that threadworms are a common type of parasitic worm infection in the UK, particularly in children under the age of 10, and infect the large intestine. The worms are white and look like small pieces of thread.

The NHS advises parents to look our for them around your child’s bottom or in their poo.
