Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached peak dad joke.
When one girl posted an alluring photo to Facebook, the last thing she expected was for her dad to see it - and then recreate it.
The girl posted a photo of herself wearing high-kneed socks in bed next to her laptop and a cup of black coffee to Facebook, and her dad decided to create his own version armed with some spotted ankle socks, a cartoon mug and a laptop bearing Google search results for "puppies".
The photos have since gone viral and been viewed more than 1.8 million times.
One user offered a caption for the dad's photo: "Just sitting here in my high socks, google searching puppy pictures. Typical Saturday night. Love, Dad."
Another echoed all of our fears: "Can't stop worrying those mugs will spill on the keyboards."
