Google Now Is Available On iOS... Now

Google has brought its 'Google Now' service to the iPad and iPhone.

Google Now gives users information on sports matches, transport conditions, weather and stocks automatically - without requesting any specific piece of information.

The aim is to learn about a user and naturally present them information when they need it - such as updates on traffic before leaving work, or hotel booking information when a confirmation turns up in Gmail.

The service was already available on Google's Android mobile OS but has been brought to Apple's products via an update to the Google Search app.

Some cards won't be available, according to Techcrunch, including Boarding Pass, Activity Summary, Events, Zillow, Fandango, Concerts, and Nearby Events.
