How To Make An Avocado Flower (Just In Time For Weekend Brunch)

Foodies: forget smashed avo, it’s all about avocado flowers.  

Despite it looking like a difficult feat, the Instagram-worthy avocado flower is surprisingly simple to make - once you know how.

Method: 

Take one large avocado and slice in half, removing the stone.

Thinly slice the avocado widthways, but be careful to keep the slices all together.

Carefully arrange the avocado slices into a spiral shape, as shown in the video above. 

Now squeeze a bit of lemon juice over your wonderful creation, sprinkle with chilli flakes, salt and pepper, and enjoy on wholemeal toast or with a salad. 

Simples.
