If you've ever tried to bake a dish that requires egg whites but not egg yolks (we're looking at you, pesky meringues) then you'll know just how fiddly separating the two can be.

But the above video from Rumble shows an easy way to get around this baking conundrum - all you need is a spare bowl and a plastic bottle.

Use a stainless steel or copper bowl. Re-wash and dry your bowl before making meringue even if you think it's clean, then put it in the fridge for a few minutes before starting.
