Two reasons why we're glad Anchorman has made it's return to the silver screen:

1. There's no such thing as too much Ron Burgundy

2. James Marsden

The gorgeous dark-haired actor had us weak at the knees as he hit the red carpet on Sunday night for the Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues premiere in New York City.

James was beyond-dapper in a smart blue blazer, teamed with charcoal suit trousers, brown brogues, pocket square and tie. His best accessory? His smile!

Okay, okay please excuse us from coming over all cheesy but just check out those pearly whites.

It's fair to say we've fallen, and fallen hard for this chap, we just have to know more about him. Here's five need-to-know facts about Anchorman's resident hottie.

1. He's older than you think

First off, while James doesn't look a day older than 29 he is actually 40-years-old, has been in the biz since the early Nineties and even made a guest appearance on Saved By The Bell.

2. You may remember him from...

*Takes deep breath* The Notebook, X Men, Enchanted, Zoolander, Hairspray, 27 Dresses, Superman Returns and Bachelorette to name but a few. This guy has been round the Hollywood block.

3. He used to be a model

With his dashing good looks it really is no surprise James used to model for Versace.

4. He's social media shy

No matter how we trawl the web we can't seem to find a trace of this dude on Twitter or Instagram. This makes us very sad.

5. He has three children

James got hitched to actress Lisa Linde in 2000 and had three children with her Jack, William and Mary. The pair divorced in 2011.
