Real Life 'Elf On The Shelf' Charges $100 Per Hour To Sit At Parties (As You Do)

This Man Will Be Your Real-Life 'Elf On The Shelf' For $100 An Hour
|

A man has utilised the popularity of 'Elf on the Shelf' to make himself some money this Christmas. And his plot to bring in the big bucks is pant-wettingly funny.

In what appears to be a serious advert on Craigslist, the Boston-based man said that for $100 per hour (that's roughly £67) he will come to your party dressed as 'Elf on the Shelf', sit in any location for an hour and "stare emptily" at guests.

The man, who said that his name is "whatever you want my name to be", added that he specialises in holiday-themed events but also offers "contracted private investigation and babysitting services" - that's quite the CV.

He added: "My services have been in high demand this season, so I now require at least 48 hours notice in advance of any bookings and appreciate your understanding. Thank you, and happy holidays!"

At the end of the advert, the man warned people not to contact him for any "unsolicited services or offers".

We can't help but think he looks like Will Ferrell in the film 'ELF'.

All in all it's pretty hilarious.
