Kate and Gerry McCann have arranged a meeting with Home Secretary Theresa May to discuss a rumoured new investigation into the disappearance of their daughter Madeleine.

The meeting has been confirmed by the Home Office, and the couple will discuss the case of their daughter, who has been missing for more than three years.

The McCanns have been pushing for a review recently, as they're concerned about some of the information handled by the British and Portugese authorities.

However, there is already an internal review of evidence going on, which is almost finished. The internal review was ordered by former Labour Home Secretary Alan Johnson, and the results of this review may lead to a new investigation.

The Metropolitan Police have no current plans to reopen the investigation.

Madeleine was nearly four when she went missing from her family's holiday flat in Praia da Luz in the Algarve, Portugal, on the 3rd May 2007. Her parents were dining in a restaurant nearby at the time of her disappearance.

Despite a large police investigation and worldwide publicity, Madeleine has still not been found.

The investigation was shelved in July 2008, when the couple were cleared as suspects.

Do you think the case should be reviewed and reopened?
