A 13-month-old baby allegedly kidnapped from her foster family has been found safe and well following a weekend police hunt.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Lola Page, including the child's 18-year-old mother.

The mum is accused of kidnap, while a man is accused of assisting an offender. Following their arrests, officers visited an address in Walsall Wood, West Midlands, where two men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap. All four have been taken into police custody.

A major police investigation was launched on Friday after police received reports that Lola was taken during a supervised family visit at an address in Willenhall.

At the time of the disappearance, Lola was being cared for by a foster family.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Markham from Force CID said: "We are pleased to say that Lola is now returned to a place of safety and she is doing well.

"We have four people in police custody, helping us with our enquiries, regarding the child's kidnap and they will be questioned later today.

"We want to thank the public for their assistance with this appeal. We received a number of calls from people with information, who were keen to help."
