3D printing is a big deal now (the world's first carbon fibre 3D printer will go on sale next month) and it turns out, these high-tech devices can be used for really useful things like er, nails. Want 3D nail art? You can get it, thanks to The Laser Girls.

Sarah Awad and Dhemerae Ford are digital artists from New York City. The girls have started a shop on nail site Shapeways which sells all their nail jewellery made by 3D printing.
