The former Coronation Street actress made the joyful announcement on the red carpet at the 21st National Television Awards on Wednesday 20 January.
But she needn't have bothered making a statement, as her baby bump gave the game away.
Just in case there was any doubt, Jones pointed to her bump and said: "Yeah I'm pregnant."
Jones is up for 'Drama Performance' award for her role in Doctor Foster.
The baby news comes not long after Suranne's wedding. She married Laurence Akers in a secret ceremony in August 2015.
