Ranking number two on the list, this Loughborough accommodation block has been praised for it's "modern rooms and strong community spirit". Students describe how Faulkner Eggington made it easy to make friends and was run by a helpful and hardworking committee. Harry French houses nearly 400 students and is second closest to Loughborough's student union. Students enjoy it's "grassy areas perfect for summer BBQs" and "proximity to the central town". Comments like "I've had the best year of my life at Harry French" really say it all and this block even hosts its own socials and sports events including a winter ball and boat parties. Students staying in Norwood House are lucky enough to be right in the centre of campus and just above the students' union. They've praised the halls for allowing you to travel to a lecture in under ten minutes and for having "huge bedrooms". Despite it's size, Norwood House is the second cheapest accommodation available at the University of Bath. Holland Hall has been rated number five in the UK due to it's fantastic social experience and great management. Comments include "loved the hall and made great friends" and "by far the best hall" despite its distance from Exeter's central campus, with students promising it's worth the money. Despite being on the edge of Bangor's campus, Reichel allows easy access to every main point of interest. With a strong layout and quality bathrooms, it provides students with brilliant value for money. Students have said that despite shared bathrooms "it doesn't feel like you're sharing" as there are no queues and facilities are kept clean by management staff. The central location and larger than average rooms make this accommodation particularly desirable. Norfolk Terrace has been marked highly for all attributes especially considering it's low prices. Consisting of six towers, hence the name, this Essex accommodation is close to the union and the lecture halls. The prices are considered very good given the location and atmosphere. "I felt like I was in a hotel" really sums up Lafrowda and its quality furnishing and spaciousness. Housing 355 students, the block is close to the students' union and the library so is convenient whether you want to party or study. The one downside to Gowar is that it lacks a common room, however spacious hallways, large en suite double bedrooms and bright kitchens with dining areas provide social space. In addition, during the summer months, the lawn in front of the buildings provides the perfect space to meet friends. Students from Furness are known to be competitive by nature and fiercely proud of their halls which have earned brilliant reviews. Due to its size, this accommodation block contains not only a common room but its own separate bar, complete with cheap drinks, a pool table and a television.
