On Sunday a Reddit user asked hotel workers the question on everyone's lips: What's the weirdest thing you've ever found in a hotel room?

In just 24 hours the post, which was submitted by Jibby1, has garnered more than 5880 responses capturing all the weird and wonderful elements of the leisure and tourism industry.

Our favourites include a gourmet cheese platter (found under a hotel bed) and a goat dressed like Abraham Lincoln. Is it us or do some people have a different notion of what travelling entails?
