The most beautiful locations in the world rely on the azure backdrop of a deep blue ocean.

That's why on World Oceans Day thousands of people across the globe take action to help conserve them.

In the UK, organisations including the Sea Watch Foundation, the Blue Planet Aquarium in Liverpool and Archipelago Creative in London are taking part - hosting activities designed to encourage the younger generations to become involved in this campaign to protect our most beautiful natural resource.
