Victoria Beckham is reportedly set to design a wedding dress for her best friend Eva Longoria.

The 'Desperate Housewives' star plans to marry her businessman fiancée Jose Antonio Baston next summer and, according to "sources", has asked Beckham to work her fashion magic on her dress.

The Sun reported that the former Spice Girl is creating a custom classic silk gown which is “romantic, sexy and showcases Eva’s famous curves”.

The newspaper also speculated that this new project, which Beckham is apparently doing for free, may even lead to her own wedding line in future.

However a spokesperson for VB's label told MailOnline: "'No one in our studio is aware of this. We don't make wedding dresses despite being asked many times in the past so it seems unlikely."

They also denied any plans to expand the business to include wedding dresses.

But is this all part of some elaborate cover up? Only time will tell...
