As another haute couture Fashion Week comes to an end in Paris, Vogue.fr looks back at some of the most memorable moments and striking looks from the runway.

Dolce & Gabbana showcased a flamboyant Alta Moda collection for Fall/Winter 2014-2015 at a private show in Capri against the back drop of the Faraglioni rocks. With limited press and the paparazzi banned from capturing images of the full skirts, bold prints and intricate floral embellishment embodying the spirit of Southern Italy, this was the most exclusive couture event of the season.

Bringing an alternative meaning to red carpet dressing, Viktor & Rolf used a range of challenging fabrics including carpet and velvet draped into outfits with oversized bows and animal print motifs. Complete with a red runway to match, the artful silhouettes were welcomed by enthusiastic applause as soon as the show began.

For Hussein Chalayan's second couture collection as creative director of Vionnet, the designer presented a collection experimenting with a palette of different reds and array of couture effects from cut-outs to pleats. Producing truly beautiful results aided by the use of soft, draping fabric, the label offered sophistication with a hint of modern elegance.
