We Now Date Six People At Any One Time, Study Reveals

So. Much. Effort.

The world of dating apps has given the human race so much choice that we’re now dating up to six people at any one time, a study has revealed.

And it sounds absolutely exhausting.

The new study from eHarmony in Australia revealed that daters are more than happy to date numerous people at the same time, with little regard for their feelings.

The survey also revealed that 64% of daters have been ‘ghosted’ - where the person you were dating ceases contact with you completely - in the last 12 months.

Meanwhile 51% said they had ‘ghosted’ another person to avoid breaking up with them properly. Not cool, folks.

Discussing the research, Nicole McInnes, director of eHarmony Australia, told Cosmopolitan: “The research here and around the world shows there is a lot of dissatisfaction in the outcomes of many dating apps.”
