There, done.
Hmmm, actually you probably need a bit more in the way of an introduction from me. After all, we'll hopefully be starting a journey here together. A journey which will involve travel, of course, as well as walking, biking, scenic railway journeys, scenic drives, holidays and the best days-out.
Along the way, we'll have some music - all the best journeys need music - and we'll need to talk about technology too, as well as chatting about the odd television programme too. Oh, and the dogs will be with us too.
There. So if that sounds interesting, then you need to know a bit about me.
I'm a writer, film-maker and broadcaster based in Yorkshire. I'm the editor of Britain's only website with video walks and podcasts, Walks Around Britain - so I get out around the country often. As well as editing the website, I also film some of the video walks for the site, and present the monthly podcast - available on AudioBoo and iTunes.
As a writer, I've put words together for BBC Countryfile, Writer Magazine, Lakeland Walker, Walk - the magazine of The Ramblers and Camping magazine, among others. And this year, a new guide book to Yorkshire is released, which I co-wrote.
I'm currently working on a new audio series about the history, heritage, people, stories and culture of Yorkshire, called White Around Yorkshire, which will be available in the middle of this year. Below is a special mini-episode, if you care to have a listen...
