In the last twenty years, I have travelled for a few months to beautiful Costa Rica, then to New York, to Dominican Republic and later on to Thailand. In Europe I visited Paris, the Côte d'Azur, Cagnes-sur-Mer and the mountain villages Haut-de-Cagnes and Saint-Paul-de-Vence. I went to the Canary Islands (especially to Lanzarote), I have travelled through Italy and Spain and spent some time on Ibiza. I have been to former Yugoslavia, Hungary and Turkey, and I have lived in Amsterdam to study Fine Arts. It was always lovely to travel, but then I went back to Germany and waited until I prepared my next journey.
When I came to Greece, something seemed to be comfortably different. This is where I wanted to stay. Was it nature, or was it the mentality, or simply the hot healing sun? I loved watching the glittering dance of the sun on the water, flowing and relaxing at the same time. Everything seemed in balance. Nature talked to me and gave me energy and a feeling of belonging.
I began more and more to find my own life path in this beautiful world of nature and mythology represented through ancient places, which are widespread over the whole country.
A wise Asian woman once said that in order to nourish and develop all her feminine skills and possibilities, for a woman it is most important to find the right place to live.
I am talking more about a home feeling, the feeling of comfort when you know that you can "lay down your eggs", as a German saying goes. You also can describe it as "place which charges you with energy". I love to call it "soul place". There the soul can feel free to expand its creativity and whole potential.
As Isabel Allende said, when she had to flee from Chile, "The fact that I am a writer comes from the experience of being cut away from my roots and living in Venezuela, where I couldn't find a place for myself, for years and years".
Finding this nest for yourself gives you the opportunity to make new beginnings with pleasure and relaxation. It´s is said, that you can feel at home everywhere, when you are connected to your heart. I have had the experience that some places are more beneficial for my business, relationships and well-being than others.
I feel at home the most in Greece. The atmosphere of every dayness inspires me to feel lighter and more sensual, to be open to magic. I see abundance every day when I look to beautiful nature. Often I encounter situations which open my heart and invite me to dream. Many people express "this magic" in many different ways, but for me it is this.
As an Astrologer and Coach, I often research the chart of my clients not only for profession or relationship matters, but also to find out the right living place. Planets have an impact on us, and the Moon shows our emotion and relationship to our environment. Jupiter points out our lust for travelling, whether it's a physical or a spiritual journey.
It's worth to take a risk; It´s always worth to go for what your heart desires.
