James Hilton (Joint CEO, M&C Saatchi Mobile) is an accomplished British marketer with over 17 years experience in direct response marketing strategy. Hilton has held senior executive positions at leading global brands, including Guardian Media Group, WeightWatchers Online, MGM Mirage and Grey Advertising.
Dissatisfied with the lack of quality and marketing knowledge he encountered when looking for a mobile marketing supplier, in early 2006 Hilton and his business partner Dusan Hamlin founded M&C Saatchi Mobile, as Inside Mobile. The new venture was one of the world’s first pure play mobile marketing and advertising consultancies and grew rapidly to become a market leader, winning numerous international marketing awards in the process.
By March 2010, Inside Mobile had far exceeded the expectations of its business plan and within two months, global advertising giant M&C Saatchi acquired a majority stake in the company.
