Michael Luongo is an award winning freelance writer, editor and photographer, based in New York City. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Bloomberg News, National Geographic Traveler, the Advocate, Gay City News, the Forward, Sirius OutQ and many other outlets. He is the author or editor of several books, including the sex research themed novel The Voyeur, published by Alyson Books, The Frommer's Buenos Aires guidebook, America's favorite guide to the Argentine capital, and the groundbreaking Haworth Press Gay Travels in the Muslim World, the first gay American book ever translated into Arabic.
